This distance education course has been prepared by the educational staff at the Blue Heron Academy. The course content is largely based upon educational materials prepared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institute of Arthritis, musculoskeletal and skin diseases. Students enrolled in the Academy's medical massage programs, acupressure and massage, and the cosmetic massage, medical spa, and paramedical skin care specialist programs are required to complete this distance education program. In addition to the ACTIVITIES SECTION of this pathology program students are required to answer the questions included in this READING MATERIAL. Once a student has completed the ACTIVITIES assignments and the questions in the READING MATERIAL, and after submitting all successfully completed course work to their eLearning instructor they will have finished this program requirement.
